Fact- a good restaurant always makes me giddy! I can go all day with anticipation just knowing where I’m going to eat.
Last week, I had the pleasure of having lunch at Brioche – Cafe Bistro, located at Watermark Business Park, Ndege Road, Karen. Brioche is a cosy space with a kitchen seasoned with love! Other than, having an aesthetic space, I also enjoyed the food. But I was sold on the service. The staff is comfortably friendly, it’s no wonder I felt right at home!
On a hot afternoon, a fresh lemonade is very fulfilling, torn between drinking it fast and wanting it to last forever! When I have a lemonade, I try to be unconventional and try anything other than a classic lemonade. I enjoyed every iced drop of this strawberry number!
Over great conversation, I had quite a number of menu items and I must say, in as much as every single one had a unique story behind them, I enjoyed these the most!
Lemon and Sugar Crêpe
Happiness is tasting crêpes once in a while. I tried something unique and guess what, crêpes go so well with good coffee!
Summer Chicken Salad
You would imagine that I am not a salad eating kinda girl. Surprisingly, I enjoy a generous serving of a well done caesar salad! Explains why this summer chicken salad appealed to me. Smoked chicken, watermelon, apples, parmesan cheese and bread all in one bowl! Very satisfying, very refreshing.
Some days you eat a salad, some days you eat a dozen donuts, its called striking a balance.
Panini – Prime Roasted Beef
In all honesty, this was made so well. With a prime roasted beef filling, mozzarella, tomatoes, grilled zucchini and green pesto; I believe that all anyone should want in this life is to sit in peace and and eat a Brioche panini! Totally toasted with love.
There’s nothing not to love about this dessert. I like chocolate desserts but there’s a lot to choose from the display shelves at Brioche. Plus they’re all so beautifully done, hard to resist! And there’s these amazing breads originally baked. I kid you not, at Brioche, baking is love made visible!
Take time to love the little things. ~Brioche
That’s it from me guys!
